| Dear Parents as you may know this year, 2007, is the centenary of Scouting and we have a lot of fun things planned as both a section, and as 1st Solihull. Therefore here is some VERY IMPORTANT information and dates about the year ahead! |

Beavers Get A-long Part
Saturday February 24th – 16:00-18:00 – all the beavers from Solihull will meet at Greswold School for two hours of fun and meeting new people |

Beavers Sport Day
May 19th we will be at Greswold school in the morning for the District Sports day |
|
Centenary Camp - Millpool
May 26th - As part of the 100 year celebration a range of scouting activities will be organised by the group which will include Beavers |
|
Another Fun Day
June 16th – we will be joining the cubs and scouts again for another day of scouting fun at the Civil Service sports ground. This will include, face painting, assault course, climbing, a circus, and much, much more. |
|
Group Camp & World Jamboree
This will coincide with the World Jamboree of scouting and we will be at the Millpool for two more fun days with the cubs and scouts on July 29th and August 01st August 01st is important because at 08:00 all scouts, cubs and beavers all over the world will renew their promise |

District Camp
September will see the whole district going on camp as we did last year and the Beavers will be invited for the day again.
District Swimming Gala
October we will as usual taking part in the district swimming gala |

Where we have dates these are firm and we would like to say that with your support it will be a lot of fun so have a great holiday and see you in the New Year.
