1st Solihull Apache Cubs

Dear Parents

We hope you had a good Easter break and welcome you back to a very busy term it starts with the St Georges Day Parade on Sunday 22nd April. All Cubs will need to meet us at the entrance between Touchwood and Clarkes Shoe shopon the high street, at no later than 2.10pm we will be marching past St Alphege Church and up New Road to Solihull Boys School where the service will be held. The roads will closed off so please allow time to get into Solihull. There will be no parking at Solihull Boys School and due to the size of the parade their will be no room for parents to attend the service. Please can we ask you to collect your child from Solihull Boys School car park at 4pm you will be unable to bring cars onto the car park so please do not try.

Sunday 29th April we as a group have been asked by the RSPCA to support their charity, so we decided to do a Charity Car Wash and we require your help to come along and wash some cars for us. We will starting at 10am till 3pm and we would be grateful if each parent could spare some time on the Sunday to come and help us out for approximately ½ hour each or longer if you wish. The moneys raised from this event will be divided between the Group and the RSPCA.

Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th May – don’t forget our 24 hour Group stopover. Arrival 10am on Saturday with a packed lunch, sleeping bag and a change of clothes. Please collect the following Morning at 10am. The cost for this event is £5 and should be placed in an envelope with your child’s name on it.
